How to throw a lavish event Boodels style

Dreams do come true; I have been a magpie ever since I was a little girl and part of being a floral designer is making things look beautiful.

So, when Boodles, creator of the most stunning jewellery, asked if we’d be interested in being part of an event in their private apartment above one of their flagship stores, I had to stifle an excited squeal.

The brief was ‘How to create a lavish party, Boodles style’.

Having met Emma Westacott a few years back at the Four Seasons, I thought she would be the ideal event planner to work on the project with us, and she didn’t disappoint bringing together a beautiful tablescape from Maison Marquax, chairs and generally working with us to pull the scheme together, and wow did it come together.

The guests arrived to a champagne reception, we then had a panel discussion with Emma, Tash from Boodles and myself, talking through some of the key points of arranging the perfect event. This was followed by a yummy afternoon tea from Browns London.

We decided on a autumnal scheme, toffee roses, sumptuous chocolate tones, autumnal foliage, of course touches of ‘Boodles’ pink and some wild card flowers to add interest. The designs were textured to create a feeling of movement and to allow each flower to showcase within the designs.

Anyway, here are a few of the incredible images from David Christopher Photography  to whet your appetite, there will be lots more as I am in LOVE with what was created.
